Random cuppies and cake

Made these random cuppies designs for two of my daughter's friends to bring home after playing here. The girls wanted 'crying baby' and this turns out really cute. The pirate is specially made for Joshua (one of the friend's brother) who is really a very good boy. Bugs is for the little sister.

Cuppies for tuition teacher who is so nice to take the girls out for lunch to celebrate their effort in the latest exam. Thank you!

Would like to thank my friend "M" for buying the gadget from USA and bringing it back to me.... without that I will not be able to make the strings so nicely. Also a special thank to my son for lending me his guitar and helping me to improve the shape of guitar. Am really glad with how this guitar turns out tho' it took me quite a while to complete the whole cake.

Wheels on the Bus

Travis's mom approached me long time ago on his second birthday cake (here's the link to his first birthday cake I did last year). Anticipating longer hours needed to complete carved cake, I woke up very early morning and started working on the cake..... Am glad how this bus turned out (initially was toying between the red bus or the yellow bus with dino.... they aren't many pictures on Wheels on the Bus in the internet that I can refer). Guess what, I have forgotten to put some red paste on top of the wheel (I don't know what it's called), realised that before I went to bed last night but too bad, Travis's mom already collected the cake for today's celebration.... Btw, the Elmo was requested to add in (and I put in extra one more Elmo since I've time to mould another one).

Small Square cake

I am challenging myself to have cakes stacked up in this way.... my kids were telling me that they will fall which they did not. This is just for FUN only. No time to mould figurine and hence it's just something simple I did for the top tier with a roll rose (as the colour is black, can't see clearly it's a roll rose).

Baby cuppies

This was done few weeks back... didn't upload them till today.... is it because I'm busy lately or lazy or too tired......

My very first set of cuppies done this year... specially for my friend to celebrate her baby's one month old party. My other friend made a very lovely gorgeous main cake (I did not see her cake prior to making this, all we agreed was pink and white theme) and thank god these cuppies blended in well with the main cake. You can imagine how happy I was when I see others holding the cuppies and started taking picture with them (all this while I don't get to see the reaction of other guests once the cakes are collected except for family celabrations).

It was very rush that morning with cakes and cuppies that I did not arrange the cuppies nicely for picture taking.... just snapped the picture and there goes to the cake box....

Vanessa's PM with farm animals

I love all the Pm figurines when I got them with the candle from SL especially the top PM figurine. SL let me decide on the design. Since there's goose with little PM on top, so I made the smaller version goose at the side of the bottom cake together with a cow (since Vanessa is born in year of ox) and pig with sheep at the rear of the cake.

"C" let me decide on everything from the colour (except that it's not too pinkish but yet girlish, no cream and white colours as background).... This is what I came out with and am really pleased with the outcome. Also very glad to receive her positive feedback vide sms that she & her guests like the cake from the look to the taste of cake. Oh yes, the name on presents was specially requested by her too..... Oh no, Piglet's facifier dropped on floor.... phew Tiger is holding its blanket and milk bottle tight.... Pooh is enjoying its 'honey milk' from honey pot bottle

Chloe's 1st (2007) and 2nd (2008) birthday cakes, notice that for the past two years were Pooh theme. She loves Pooh & friends, this year only Pooh is around and the rest of the friends are on leave :) She is older now (tho' I have not met her personally), so I made a little girl (not baby) as topper for the cake.

Time flies... it has been a year past since I made Renee's garden cake last year. I still remember last year I worked till mid-night to complete all the cuppies and cake. Renee's mom specially requested for the name on presents and with lots of tiny hearts.

Flowers

Design of cake was forwarded to me to replicate as closed as possible (thanks to the creator of this design). I've added the teacups and teapot as requested.

I'd also like to thank my friend, J, for lending me her veiner mould to come out with these lovely flowers (as per the original design).

Rachel's mom came to collect the cake with her. Little Rachel nodded her head when mummy asked if she likes the cake (am really happy that both Rachel girl and mummy like the cake). Btw, purple was the first colour Rachel mentioned, hence the cake is in purple :)

I simply adore all the PM figurines, they are just lovely and sweet. Nicole's mom got the same PM figurine and same No 1 candle (it's Huge) as the one she got for her older daughter's 1 year old celebration (what a sweet and thoughtful mom). I didn't have to think of the cake design, she told me what she wants from the cakes in my blog :)

Jungle theme for Gabby

Time flies.... I still remember last year before I did Gabby's cake, she was not well then... this year Gabby's mom, "K", approached me and requested for jungle animals theme. The cake is merely for family celebration as they love the moist chocolate cake (am so glad to hear that). Same as last year, she leaves everything to me from design to colour, all she does was telling me she needed size 9" round cake and jungle theme.... So I made this 9" single tier with a little two tier effect and the monkey was not requested but I added that in..... to thank Gabby's mom for her trust on me :) Thank you "K", nice chatting with you and your hubby. Besides I'm also very happy to note that they still keeping last year's figurines and Gabby loves to see those figurines.

Roses for ROM

"A" approached me to make a ROM cake for her buddy and she doesn't mind store bought roses.... actually I'm not a flowers person, guess you guys can judge based on the cake designs I made :)

Knowing that store bought roses will not bring me any satisfaction in making the cake, hence I moulded it myself one by one and have some lose petals on cake. Actual cake has lighter shade colour but the picture shown a darker colour....

Precious Moment for Janelle

Janelle's mom specifically mentioned to have more pink, less white and less silver for this cake and does not want to have bows for the cake and yet sweet looking. Here's the design I come out with. Hope I have achieve what she wanted. Btw, Precious Moment figurines were provided by her. Little Janelle looks so pretty, cubby and cute!

Enchanted castle for Valentine

Valentine's mom wanted castle theme that is different from what I've made before and requested to have pink cake with princess and those animals too. This is the end result of cake.... first time making cake that uses so much fondant!

Jovan's Sesame train

Jovan's mom requested for something similar to this cake. I tried to make it as closed as possible except for the position for some of the figurines. Tho' I usually don't upload the same design again but this one I can't help myself to upload as I really like how Bert and Ernie turned out.

Baby P. Moment

I was asked to make something similar to ERLYNA'S CAKE with very little modification and colour theme to be in pink, white and purple. Since party is Pooh theme, so I added a hand moulded Pooh next to the Precious Moment figurine (P.M figurine was provided by Rachel's mom). I simply love this sweet looking cake.

No 1 Baby Mickey & Minnie

Daryl's mom wanted the No 1 cake to be something like the Minna no Tabo design that I did sometime back but change to Baby Mickey and Baby Minnie figurines. For those who are interested to know (I received quite a number of emails asking me this....), most of the figurines in my blog were free hand moulded.
