Sunshine in Jungle

I enjoy making this cake very much.  I was asked to provide three types of animals namely Lion, Elephant and Monkey.  Phoebe's mum leave the rest of the design (including cake colours) to me.  I have since added extra animals.  This is what I came out with and I am happy with the overall cake result as well as Phoebe's family.

Giant Elephant for Rayder

Made this cake for Rayder's 1st Birthday celebration on 2nd March 2014.  Cake size is 10"+7" two tier round cakes.  I love this cake  ^.^

Animals Safari for Elliot

Animals Safari theme cake for Elliot's first birthday celebration last week......

3D Pink Bunny for Ern Tong

Carved this little Bunny for Ern Tong, is her 4th Birthday.... the cake is very small.

Waterfall Jungle theme for Elijah

10"+6" two round cakes size.  Animals were moulded using fondant.

Jungle cake for Dylan

I was asked to make a single tier Jungle theme cake with the type of animals requested.  Dylan's mom leave the design to me as well as the colour of the cake (she said as long as it's jungle theme colour, she is fine with it).

Giraffe for Elvis

I was approached by Elvis's auntie to make this cake....I feel really good after making it (for the reason why I accepted).   Thank you :)

Corgi Dog

Cake I made last week.....

Carebear, Dog, Car and Boy for Ernest

Giant 9 with NINE dogs and a girl

Looking at the cake I believe one can guess how much time I spend on this cake's moulding.... total NINE dogs to represent Letitia's age :) Am happy to see this cake when it's done eventhough many hours have put into this single tier 9" round cake.

Barney with Dog and Cat

Pardon me for the poor lighting picture.... was told that Talia likes to have Barney theme and also likes to look at animals.... added the dog and cat with duckies bathing with one of the dino :) Love the moulded cat and dog (they blend in well with Barney theme).

Tiger with Boy wearing tiger outfit

Have been really busy lately ...... Gabriel's mom requested for jungle theme for this special celebration and needed tiger, elephant and tree (the rest of animals she leaves to me to decide).... This is 10"+8" two tier round cakes.

Brother & sister Joint celebration (Tiger & Wiggles)

Some details were specifically requested to reflect kids' liking.... both names were on 'MINI Blocks".

Twins Wei2Qi2 with Tiger outfit

As they are a lot of moulding to do, this cake took me days to complete all the figurines :) Love to see the twins, they are identical twins (tho I'm not sure if Wei2 & Qi2 are identical twins or not). Those animals requested are their soft toys (hence there's a snowman in it eventhough there's no snow fall).

Big Head Giraffe for Joshua

Was asked to do something like the cake I did before (click the link here for previous cake)... only did very minimum changes. Personally I prefer to have cake board covers with either royal icing or fondant, don't you agree that it yields a better result on overall cake look. Please highlight in your email if you wish to have cake board covers with fondant :)

Jungle theme for Kiera

Kiera's mom is using Sujan's cake (click link here for the other cake) as a guide for the design and allow me to do modification (need not be totally same....) and she requested for Giraffe, Tiger, Pig, Cow and Elephant. Since it's meant for girly animal theme cake, hence I tried to make those animals as feminine as possible. Another fun cake to make.

XXL Tiger with normal size animals

Kylor's mom requested for a Tiger with any other animals, birthday wishes and covering cake board with fondant and she leaves the design to me. My initial plan was to make a XL Tiger and it ended up became a double XL Tiger (no wonder I used up so much of the fondant just to make this XXL Tiger). There are many ways to mould tiger, this is one of many I attempted. Thanks for the trust I get from many of you to leave the design to me :)

Blue & White colour theme for JACE

My very first cake for Year 2011..... Was asked to do Blue and White colour theme and "JACE" as cake topper., Noted from Jace's mom earlier requirement that she wanted something more elegant but suggested to her to have some fun element in it since it's for baby boy (hence I added extra cows and the boy figurine to the cake). I was trying very hard to restrict my colours to blue and white only (except for the cow print which I can't help to have black colour). Thanks to Jace's mom for leaving the design to me and am glad that she loves the design.

Cows theme for Mummy & Baby

Mummy Griselda's birthday and baby Johanes's birthday are quite closed (and having same zodiac ie cow). Hence the cake is made with two sides, one side for Baby and the other side for Mummy. The snake (see next picture for snake with diff angle) in between baby wearing cow suit and mummy cow represents daddy in the family.

I only committed to this cake for December 2010 as I will be away again which the date is not very certain yet.... Sorry for those that I have to turn down your requests.

Delson's jungle cake

Updates..... Picture taken by Delson's mom using her handphone (hence the picture is not so sharp). A very big thank you to you 'E' for being so thoughtful to send me this picture. Thank you for taking time to send me your feedback, glad that you and your guests liked the cake design as well as cake taste :)

Of all the animals on this cake (requested by Delson's mon except for snake and bird), I like Elephant most. Not sure if it can be seen in the picture (yes, confirmed can see from the bottom picture, just double click on it)... the elephant's trunk has a little water effect on it and I like that when looking at the elephant). After taking this picture, I have added a little more extras (another bird, big red flower, two bugs, three bees) to bottom tier cake but sorry no picture to show that.....
