Assorted cupcakes

Flowers cupcakes:

Snowman made by my daughter, her first time making it all by herself.

X'mas theme cupcakes with all the mini figurines.

Yes, I made these faces again, I really love these. They are very happy looking, aren't they?

Elmo cupcakes. If you notice, all the Elmo are lying down simply because the container for each of them are not tall enough to have them sitted (else cannot cover the container for the little kids to bring home).

Baby elephants.

Littlest Pet Shop

This cake is really small, made from 6" round and thereafter carved away almost half of the cake to get the shape I wanted. Nevermind this small cake since it only serve a few of us home.... btw this is specially made for my daughter. Those little figurines are those favourite from her Littlest Pet Shop collection (I didn't make them).

My dear girl also requested me to make another cake for her friend who happen to have the same birthday as her. I used my daughter's Littlest Pet Shop toy as model and came out with my version of figurines. Here's the cake picture to share with you.

Kaitlyn's cake

This is the cake specially for Kaitlyn (K's sister who is my daughter's buddy). Her birthday is exactly the same as my daughter. I'm glad that I can make this cake for her since she celebrates earlier. We'd like to wish you a very "Happy Birthday, Kaitlyn". Hope you have a great celebration in school and like the cake. :-) :) :P

Super Mario and Luigi are coming.....

Yes, Super Mario and Luigi are coming to town to celebrate Aaron's birthday. This cake is covered with whipping cream instead of sugar paste like the previous Mario cake I made. It turned out pretty ok :)

Big Elmo and small racing cars with friends

Elmo is supposed to hold the birthday wish banner which I left it out while taking this photo. Quite similar to the earlier Elmo surprise cake except for smaller version big bird, elmo and cookie monster sitting in racing cars. The numbers in front of the cars represent Malcolm's date of birth (ie date-month-year; guess the picture is too small to show all the numbers unless you double click on the picture to see bigger version).

A small cake for my dear friend

This is a small cake I made for my dear friend to celebrate her birthday. Another friend of mine made a violin cake topper which is so lovely, till now I'm still thinking of that lovely violin :)

Faces cupcakes

I was attracted by 'faces cupcakes' done by Su (one of the very talented young lady from Malaysia http://cookingismypassion.blogspot.com/). Didn't expect to take me so long to finish just four cupcakes (maybe I'm slow in action and didn't really plan my work well)... Brought this with some plain non-decorated cupcakes to visit my friend.

Pink cake - Elmo surprise!

Update...... am really glad that Chloe's mom took the trouble to send me the picture of cake table setting. Is it NICE, I really appreciate it very much.

There are some music notes around the side of top tier cake to go with Sesame Street figurines (bought oline from Wilton) since all of them are holding musical instruments. However, these musical notes were not visible in this picture (forgotten to take a picture of the back cake to show the notes).

Rockin' Girl Blogger

My forum pal, Hugbear, (http://bakingmum.blogspot.com/2007/10/rockin-girl-blogger.html) has awarded this Rockin' Girl Blogger award...

Thanks Hugbear for all the inspirations that you have given to me all this while and make me move my very first step in cake decorating. I truly appreciate it very much.

Now, I would like to pass this award to Lucy http://auntyyochana.blogspot.com/. I admire her stamina in churning out so many beautiful and lovely bakes each day..... She is also very knowledgeable in baking.

Bear Hugs

Made this cake for Megan's birthday (my friend's daughter). As I was busy lately, have no inspiration and not much time to think of what to make. After decorated this cake, find it a bit too plain......
..... so here comes the mushrooms added to the cake! Think it's better now, do you agree???

Close up bears hugging each other.

Am glad that Megan and her mom like the cake. Cake flavour is cookie cream with banana.
