Jungle & Farm animals

Was told that Javier likes Giraffe, dog, cow and sheep... that explaines why the mixture of jungle and farm animals (actually come to think of it, cow, dog and sheep can be in jungle also....haha).

Jungle theme with Bug's car

The initial request was Numeric 1 shaped cake and was changed to two tiers later on request by Dylan's mom. Personally I like the overall design with two tiers as compared to No 1 shaped cake (this is just me... personal feeling!). Was requested for a car and I made it a 'bug's car' as Dylan likes bugs (see the added bugs on a leaf floating on water :)

Pocoyo for Gabriel

All parents love their child.... when I received Thomas's email, I have no heart to say "no" to him.... though I have only done Pocoyo theme once and he trusted me on this. His request is only more boyish colour as it's for his darling boy. Made the colour with gradient effect.... Am glad that Thomas and his wife like the cake after I sent the cake picture to them when it was done....

Am surprised that Thomas came with this gift. Thank you so much for being so nice to me. I am already very happy when you sms me your family likes the cake design, that's already my best rewards in making cakes (bringing smiles to others). Once again, thank you, hope you don't mind me posting your message here as I really wanted to keep it in my blog. I appreciate that notes very much.

Moo moo with mushroom

Did I say it before..... I love to make COWS.... simply love to make cow theme (as though I am making my own child's cake)..... Am glad that Claudia's mom trusted me with any design, only requests is cow theme with pink colour cake. Here's what I come out with. Is it sweets... all are cow girls with eyeleashes and also made the baby girl with cow costume tho' it's not requested. Added extra bows with cow print for the cow theme effect. I love this cake. Sorry that I took the picture not really center as I was trying to avoid taking my own shadow :)

Nautical theme with Snoopy

Mei Xuan's sis sent me a picture of hers with big black framed spec. I was trying to make black spec but it didn't turn out nice (at least to me), hence I changed it to big gold frame specs. As Snoopy was requested to be there, I purposely made the girl figurine's head bigger than the body to have the cartoonish effect. Glad to hear that she likes it.

Pig & cows with a 'cat'

Initially was asked to include a tiger in this cake but in the end have changed that to 'cat' instead (which I tried to make it looks a bit like tiger ... from the colour). Glad that Janessa's parents like it.

Am happy that I finally able to meet up with the pretty birthday girl (yeah, Dani's mom brought her along to meet this auntie who did her cake last year). Was specially requested to have the cake board covered with fondant.

Tinkerbell with Animals

Caitlyn's mom provided the plastic tinkerbell figurine and wanted to have other animals to go with the cake (she specifically requested for moo moo to be there). Am glad that Caitlyn's mom loves the design very much (she has totally clueless of how I'm going to decorate the cake and she leaves that to me to decide). Thank you for your trust on me :)

Sweet Pooh theme

After rain... sun and rainbow are out to celebrate Alexa's birthday party...... :)

Covered the cake board with fondant (I must say that having fondant on cake board really make the cake looks a lot better... but it's more work to me tho') and it's a sweet cake for sweet Baby Alexa to celebrate her very special birthday :)

Safari theme cake

I was told that Lucius's favourite colour is green and he likes giraffe (that's why mummy requested to have the big giraffe I made in my earlier cake and the rest of animals she leaves to me to decide)....

I received a couple of enquiries asking me what is strong/deep colour, this cake is an example of strong/deep colour used :)

Pocoyo for Mia

When I was asked to make Pocoyo theme cake, I've totally no idea what this is... did a quick search on internet and confirm I'm able to mould the characters.... Am glad that Mia's mom is happy with the cake design :)

Penguins Land

Remember I mentioned in Max's post that (under Boy and Cow with Big 1) that I'll be making Max sister's cake. Here's her penguin land..... I love penguins, my son love penguins, all my family members like this cake:)

Ally's mom leave everything to me for both Max and Ally's cake. With that, I have no hesitation to level the cake (is supposed to be single tier 8" round cake). Would also like to thank Ally's dad and mom for accommodating the collection time... THANK YOU! (my dad is now discharged from hospital).

I didn't come out with the design. Jamian's mom gave me a picture and asked to have Mario popping out from cake..... I just modified the side of cake and have Jamian's name placed on cake :)

Gabby's Fairies cake

I only see Gabby one year once since year 2008 (yeah, this is the 3rd year I'm making her cake) and she's now so much bigger and prettier....she's blessed to have a happy family (can feel the happiness when chatting with both her parents).

When preparing for this cake, I can't help myself to put in the 'extras' to make little princess happy and made the big snail with big mushroom for her as well. All her mom asked for is 'fairy theme cake' and the rest of details including colour were up to my discretion as previous years (instead of making one fairy, I made two 3D fairies and another two fairies sticked to the side of cake... I enjoy making them). Thank you "K" for your trust.

Eeyore with BMW convertible

This is a very busy week for me...... sometime back (ie after I've indicated in my blog that I'll not available in May) and this lady "A" approached me.... for whatever reason, the request was accepted and her only request is 8"+6" two tier round cakes with only ONE Eeyore on the cake (thanks for her understanding that I may not have time to do more moulding eventho' I was told that Gyver loves BMW). I managed to find sometime and some last minutes moulding to add in the extra BMW convertible and the two Eeyores holding numeric '21' to represents Gyver's age (notice that the design is more serious this time as it's meant for 'adult' celebration). Also covered the cake board to have more classy look.

Happy 21st Birthday Gyver! Wish you all the best when you are abroad!

Pooh with Big 1

Charlotte and family come back from overseas to celebrate her very first birthday in Singapore. Her mom requested for a Big numeric 1 with Pooh theme, colours to be pink and white. Cake size is 8"+6".

Train with Little Pig

My mind was thinking of three little pig when i was preparing for this cake... that is how the little pig came in since Kylan is born in year of pig :)

Young Piglet and Grandma Piglet

Instead of making two tier cakes based on this design (click underline for the previous design), I was asked to make it to 8" single tier cake for Evan (young piglet) and his grandma (sitting on log with specs) to celebrate their birthday with family.

Hi-5 & Carebear theme for brother and sister

Time flies, did Jovan's cake last year (picture here) and this year Jovan wanted Hi-5 theme whereas the sister, Jaena is having Carebear theme (my very first time making carebears, enjoy making them tho', aren't they cute...).

Jungle cake with Elmo driving....

Wonder why Elmo and the pink dog with the duckies appear in jungle.... they must be wondering around till they got lost (was requested to add them in.....) but have added extra animals tho'.

Pooh with Darby and friends

Julianne's mom likes this cake that I made sometime back (click on the link to view the earlier cake).... and I told her I will try to do as closed as possible. She also requested for Darby (and thank god, she attach a picture of Darby in her email, which really helps a lot as I do not know who this Darby is... thank you). Have added the pink flowers behind to add a little touch for girl's cake. The empty space in front of the honey pot is 'reserved' for her No 3 candle.

PM with Bear Friends

A cake that I enjoy myself throughout the whole making process despite the long hours I put in to add cut out fence for both top and bottom tiers (cake size is 10"+6"), make the little tiny bears on name (I am really pleased with how this turned out) and the rest of details. Nothing much was requested by Olivia's mom, she just told me she leave everything to me to decide (from the colour of cake to the overall design) but with only one small request, ie to have ONE bear (and she briefly mentioned my previous PM cake with a Pooh bear... that's why a Pooh bear is on top tier driving a mini car). I guess I was carried away when making this and added those tiny tiny bears on the alphabets (they are really tiny and I find them 'cute'). Olivia is really a pretty and cute girl.

Mickey & Minnie with presents

Isaac's mom wanted something similar to what I had done before with light blue background and clouds. She suggested to have presents to go with both Ms and have 2D birthday wishes placed on top of cake. This cake is 10" round cake. To make the Mickey & Minnie faces like this (especially the muzzle part) I need hours to complete. One of my friend suggested, simplified it will surely cut short the moulding time....but I really wish to make it as closed as possible (challenging myself, haha).

Mickey clubhouse

I modified Mickey clubhouse cake design from internet (many has done something like this before.... I really wish to thank the first person who came out with this brilliant way of making mickey clubhouse design, fantastic idea!). To make it looks a bit like in the park, I have added some trees behind the mickey & minnie. All the little tiny mickey & friends figurines were provided by Vladen's mom (am glad that I get to make Vladen's cake as I did his older's brother's first birthday cake too). Thank you :)
