Roses for ROM

"A" approached me to make a ROM cake for her buddy and she doesn't mind store bought roses.... actually I'm not a flowers person, guess you guys can judge based on the cake designs I made :)

Knowing that store bought roses will not bring me any satisfaction in making the cake, hence I moulded it myself one by one and have some lose petals on cake. Actual cake has lighter shade colour but the picture shown a darker colour....

Precious Moment for Janelle

Janelle's mom specifically mentioned to have more pink, less white and less silver for this cake and does not want to have bows for the cake and yet sweet looking. Here's the design I come out with. Hope I have achieve what she wanted. Btw, Precious Moment figurines were provided by her. Little Janelle looks so pretty, cubby and cute!

Enchanted castle for Valentine

Valentine's mom wanted castle theme that is different from what I've made before and requested to have pink cake with princess and those animals too. This is the end result of cake.... first time making cake that uses so much fondant!

Baby Mickey & Minnie for Cheng Xuan

Baby Donald behind was added to join Mickey and Minnie .... Cheng Xuan's mom likes to have milk bottle and pacifier.

Jovan's Sesame train

Jovan's mom requested for something similar to this cake. I tried to make it as closed as possible except for the position for some of the figurines. Tho' I usually don't upload the same design again but this one I can't help myself to upload as I really like how Bert and Ernie turned out.

Baby P. Moment

I was asked to make something similar to ERLYNA'S CAKE with very little modification and colour theme to be in pink, white and purple. Since party is Pooh theme, so I added a hand moulded Pooh next to the Precious Moment figurine (P.M figurine was provided by Rachel's mom). I simply love this sweet looking cake.

No 1 Baby Mickey & Minnie

Daryl's mom wanted the No 1 cake to be something like the Minna no Tabo design that I did sometime back but change to Baby Mickey and Baby Minnie figurines. For those who are interested to know (I received quite a number of emails asking me this....), most of the figurines in my blog were free hand moulded.

Little Miss Cake for Jaslynn

Introducing...... Little Mr Happy.....! Here's the cake for Jaslynn to celebrate her 3rd birthday. My very first cake at my new place though I didn't accept any other cake confirmations these two months but this was confirmed with Jaslynn's mom when I did her sister's Strawberry Shortcake months ago..... The small yellow house with red roof was carved from 6" square cake.

ROM cum birthday cake

I love all the Precious Moment figurine..... I really wish one day I'm able to mould this figurine (I tried sometime back and it didn't come close to it)..... The figurine was handed to me in advance to place on the cake.

For the very first time I read my cake records wrongly and supposed to make two different colours for the cake and I read it as either colour (realised it only after I've completed the cake). Felt really really sorry for the mistake I made. I sincerely apologies to Aeryn's mom. Luckily I was told that Aeryn is happy with it especially the Miss Naughty and dog is just like what she wanted. Aeryn, I hope you like the complimentary Little Man that I made for you.

Pokemon cake for Emma

Emma wanted a Pokemon theme cake and her mom D requested for Moist chocolate cake but covered with whipped cream instead of fondant, same flavour as her previous birthday cake.

Bugs Bunny

This cake is specially for KIM (my daughter's friend).... They are so many tiny carrots, it took me ages to finish them..... the next time if I make this cake again, it will not be so many carrots or maybe few carrots with different designs.....hehe. Nonetheless I truly enjoy myself during the process of making. Oh ya, I like how the bunny turned out.

No 1 shaped cake - Pooh & friends in train

No 1 shaped cake was carved from 8" + 6" square cakes. Needed quite a lot of time to mould all the figurines, train, carrige and presents (especially during this time when I'm busy with my other stuffs....)

Piglet and friends

Something similar to Elmo and Piglet cake I made before just a little modification..... the empty space next to Piglet is reserved for No 1 Pooh candle to be placed by Chloe's mom. They are some cuppies to go with the main cake.

Another Piglet and friends cake... design is mixture of cakes that I had done before. "E" emailed me her sketch (she's very good with her drawing, wish I can sketch too.... besides she's really young and pretty). The No 1 candle will be placed in between Tigger, Eeyore and butterfly. Cuppies design is to match the main cake theme.

X'mas Sesame

Being a X'mas Baby, Jayden's mom requested for Sesame characters to celebrate Jayden's very 1st Birthday on this special X'mas day! Merry X'mas and Happy Birthday Jayden!

Tried to put in Darren's favourite foods (egg, bread, apple, milk) for his favourite Elmo's picnic. Happy 2nd Birthday Darren!

Jaishaan's cake

I usually don't upload same design cake but can't help myself to upload this cake for my own record as the recipient of this cake is so so so "HANDSOME". Cake design similar to what I had done before except for the Elmo on top cake and colours of the train at the side of back cake. Empty space next to Elmo is reserved for No 2 candle.

Hello Kitty

Jeannieve's mom likes the previous Precious Moment design I made.... this is pretty similar to that design except that Jean likes 'pink' and 'red' colours.

Jean's mom made this cookies for the little kids in the party, am happy to be able to try it. Thank you so much..... my girl likes it, she said one of them tasted like Sub-way cookies. This reminds me that it's has been quite sometime I've not made cookies....

Piglet and Elmo

Louisa likes Piglet as well as Elmo... As the figurines are big and in order not to block the No 1 candle that will be placed by Louisa's mom, I made half of the top cake taller. Aren't both Piglet and Elmo look great together :)

Partying Piglet & friends

Piglet and friends were invited to Clarisse's party (as you can see Piglet is the guest of honour). The empty space behind/next to her is reserved for No 1 Pooh candle. Cake size is 10"+6" covered with whipped cream.

Longevity cake

A very rush job that I completed this cake the day before I left for holiday, all in I spent less than 24 hours to complete this cake from coming out with the design, moulding figurines to the end products... I was delighted to see all the happy faces (as it's too personal to upload picture of celebrations, sorry that I'm not able to share the picture of celebration/joys here)....

The word "Shou" was free hand written, so are the Chinese wordings "Happy Birthday". Big peaches represents father and mother, small peaches are the children and the below hand painted peaches were for grandchildren (not enough time to mould tiny peaches....).
