Shoes....

.... is a "sugar" shoes and not Cinderella shoe, for your viewing pleasure. I know where I can improve further on this shoes if I ever make them again. Overall I like this pair of shoes eventho' it's too small for me :)

Preview...

Preview for part of my upcoming project.....

Present

Fairies cake

9" + 6" two tier cake with sugar paste finishing and there are 10 mini cupcake fairies surrounding the cake. The empty space on the top tier is for No 1 candle.

CHRISTY... what a sweet name

I like this name....CHRISTY ..... made this with extra mini cupcakes I have.

Hawaiian theme

I was thinking palm tree is not hard to make, but somehow I couldn't get it right, failed many attempts and have to re-do again and again....still not very happy with these palm tree but I'm happy with the hibiscus tho'. I've subsequently replaced the one at the bottom tier cake after taking these pictures. Guess I need to practice again on palm tree. I also added a little moss green to the rocks to get the algae effect.

Elmo's car and beach ball

Paige's cake

I feel so glad and happy that Paige's mom take the trouble to email me these nicely snapped photos. Pretty similar to those that I've made before except for the BRIGHT YELLOW table cloth. Thank you E for taking the time to email me the pictures and I can't help myself to laugh upon knowing what Paige did with the tea set (she is so cute).

Dog Figurines

Sorry no cake picture here. Just sharing with you the dogs figurines I made for my friend to put on her cake. Thanks for looking.

CHEERS!

Happy 50th Birthday JOHN! Three CHEERS to you and your family

Flying carpet

"Will you .....Marry Me?"

Updates on the outcome............ :)

Hip hip hooray! YES, YES, YES! "G" shares this piece of GOOD news with me on Sunday. I'm happy for him. Cheers everyone!

When G told me the idea of the cake, I was so excited.... (not that I'm the one, it's the idea that make me feel excited..... He's indeed a romantic guy). Have to abolish the plan of making Precious Moment as my standard is still not there yet. There is a story why a princess and bee are here.... sorry no further details on story here. The bee hive is for G to place the real RING (hopefully the concept can work and can hold the ring). I sincerely wish G "Good Luck!"

With all the practice, I think I improve in moulding human figure a little (and there is still room for improvement which I will try to do better next time....). I wasn't quite happy with the first princess moulded, I made again and the one you see in the picture is the improved version (I didn't re-do the body as I'm happy with the original one). Also made a bigger version of bee :)

HSM

A cake for my special friend

The little girl is supposed to be Precious Moment but my standard is still not there yet (now she turns out to be 'little girl' instead, I still need more and more practice....). Initial plan for this cake was without any figurine on the cake but....... "L" guess you understand.

Kim's Gorilla and friends

Am sorry that my photography skill is not very good in capturing Gorilla (he's the main STAR for this cake). Thanks G for taking the trouble to email me feedback on this cake, I truly appreciate it.

Racing car

8" square cake finished with whipping cream. Number 2 is thin layer of sugar paste.

Pink Bow and Daisy

I'm free to do whatever I like, what I need to provide is something sweet, have rabbit (special request) and fairy. Here's what I came out with, a little fairy, a small rabbit got stuck in the log, also added a big pink bow at the bottom of cake. It's a 9" + 6" two tier cake covered with sugar paste. Am glad that both mummy and daughter like the cake :)

Pokemon cake

When M told me about Pokemon cake, first thing come in my mind is "Pikachu" .... (but I was wrong), and yellow wording on blue background (I'm seriously not familiar with those new characters....). Got pictures of Piplup (in blue closer to alphabet N), Chingling (centre) and Starly (closer to letter R) from internet and started moulding them. My daughter was telling me that Chingling does not have the black 'dot' at both side of his/her mouth (but the picture shows with them.....I'm confused!). Nonetheless, I still hope that Ryan likes this cake.

Princesses

The little dollies (ie princesses) are actually "mini cupcakes" underneath the gowns. I'm so happy that A likes it, hope her daughter likes it too.

Xavier's cake

10" + 6" cakes finished with whipping cream. Table cloth is fondant.

Wishing all of you a very HAPPY CNY

Since this year is year of RAT, I made a few rats and place them on this Lapis cake without covering the cake with cream or sugar paste. Wishing all of you a very HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR!

Clifford dog

Happy Birthday Belicia!

Belicia's two tier birthday cake....

Here are the cupcakes with all the figurines on them.... Happy Birthday Belicia!

"We" are ready....!

We..... Elmo, Cookie Monster and Big Bird.... are all ready to celebrate Belicia's birthday.....

My first time making so many figurines (50 pcs to be exact) at one go, took me approx 9 hours to complete all of them over two days (exclude the time in making paste and adding colours). Despite the long hours in moulding each and everyone of them freehand, the process was fun and upon seeing all of them sitting together, the feeling is GREAT!

Thanks for looking!

Jayden is One

Jayden is 1 now. Here's his cake covered with sugar paste. Happy Birthday Jayden!

Done the cake yesterday but due to wet weather, the No 1 didn't stay straight this morning.... my heart sunk upon seeing it and have no choice got to use a toothpick to support it straight.
