Barney & friends on Stage

It has been a very busy/rush days for me lately..... Due to some unforseeable circumstances, Jewwel has to celebrate her birthday earlier....

I have challenged myself to add the 'spotlight' effect on the stage.... here are the pictures to show with and without the lights on.... hope you can see the different.

Jungle & Farm animals

Was told that Javier likes Giraffe, dog, cow and sheep... that explaines why the mixture of jungle and farm animals (actually come to think of it, cow, dog and sheep can be in jungle also....haha).

Jungle theme with Bug's car

The initial request was Numeric 1 shaped cake and was changed to two tiers later on request by Dylan's mom. Personally I like the overall design with two tiers as compared to No 1 shaped cake (this is just me... personal feeling!). Was requested for a car and I made it a 'bug's car' as Dylan likes bugs (see the added bugs on a leaf floating on water :)

Pocoyo for Gabriel

All parents love their child.... when I received Thomas's email, I have no heart to say "no" to him.... though I have only done Pocoyo theme once and he trusted me on this. His request is only more boyish colour as it's for his darling boy. Made the colour with gradient effect.... Am glad that Thomas and his wife like the cake after I sent the cake picture to them when it was done....

Am surprised that Thomas came with this gift. Thank you so much for being so nice to me. I am already very happy when you sms me your family likes the cake design, that's already my best rewards in making cakes (bringing smiles to others). Once again, thank you, hope you don't mind me posting your message here as I really wanted to keep it in my blog. I appreciate that notes very much.

Moo moo with mushroom

Did I say it before..... I love to make COWS.... simply love to make cow theme (as though I am making my own child's cake)..... Am glad that Claudia's mom trusted me with any design, only requests is cow theme with pink colour cake. Here's what I come out with. Is it sweets... all are cow girls with eyeleashes and also made the baby girl with cow costume tho' it's not requested. Added extra bows with cow print for the cow theme effect. I love this cake. Sorry that I took the picture not really center as I was trying to avoid taking my own shadow :)

Nautical theme with Snoopy

Mei Xuan's sis sent me a picture of hers with big black framed spec. I was trying to make black spec but it didn't turn out nice (at least to me), hence I changed it to big gold frame specs. As Snoopy was requested to be there, I purposely made the girl figurine's head bigger than the body to have the cartoonish effect. Glad to hear that she likes it.

Pig & cows with a 'cat'

Initially was asked to include a tiger in this cake but in the end have changed that to 'cat' instead (which I tried to make it looks a bit like tiger ... from the colour). Glad that Janessa's parents like it.
