To Colin Joseph

Hi Colin Joseph,

I have tried to reply your email several times but the mails kept bounced back... have no idea why.... sorry that I've to resort to post it here (hope you read this...).

As I'll be busy with non-cake related commitments, hence not able to do many cakes and not available in Jan 2011. Thanks for asking.

Cheers,
Glad

Christmas Soccer Ball

Would like to wish all of you a Blessed Christmas and a Joyous 2011 New Year!

Thanks for visiting my blog and thanks for all the supports you guys/gals have extended to me all this while. I truly appreciate it! Thank you!

Soccer ball is cake :)

Cows theme for Mummy & Baby

Mummy Griselda's birthday and baby Johanes's birthday are quite closed (and having same zodiac ie cow). Hence the cake is made with two sides, one side for Baby and the other side for Mummy. The snake (see next picture for snake with diff angle) in between baby wearing cow suit and mummy cow represents daddy in the family.

I only committed to this cake for December 2010 as I will be away again which the date is not very certain yet.... Sorry for those that I have to turn down your requests.

Notice 2

Dear all,

I've replied all mails I received during my absent (mails received until 20th Nov). Pls let me know or re-send your mail if you did not receive any reply (I may have accidentally deleted... as I was also cleaning up some junk mails at the same time ....). Thanks for your understanding.

Btw, I will not be able to commit to any cakes jobs in Dec as I'll be away and the dates are not confirmed yet.

Will make lesser cakes next year as I need some free time for other non-cake related stuffs.

Thanks for your understanding.

Cheers,
Glad

Notice!

Dear all,

I will be away tomorrow and will not be attending to emails during my absent. I will try my best to reply after 20th November. Thanks for your understanding :)

Cheers,

Mr Men & Little Miss with Happy Sun

This is my last cake before I leave for holidays (yippee... holidays ....). Ruichuan's mom leave the design to me, all she asked for was the five Mr Men/Little Miss figurines on an 8" round cake. She only sees the cake when it's done :) Thank you very much "F" for your trust.

Little Einsteins for Xian Rui

This is my first time making Little Einsteins cake. Xian Rui's mom only get to see the cake after it's done (no sketch was given to her earlier). Glad to hear that she likes the cake. Happy Birthday Xian Rui! Hugs to you to....

Ben 10 with Doreamon

I was asked to have Ben 10 boy plus Doreamon figurines.... and three lollipops as requested cause the birthday boy likes the previous Doreamon cake I made (link here). Also added the ice-cream at the side of the cake just like the previous Doreamon cake.

Jordan's Bob theme

Pig Driving Wiggles Red Car

Kayden's mom requested for wiggles red car with rainbow and having a pig driving the red car. She leaves all the rest of details including the cake colours etc to me. Thanks very much for your trust SL :) I like this rainbow very much (it's easy to make but require more time to mix all the seven colours).

Elmo & friends for Giselle

Was asked to make something similar to the cake I made earlier (on the top tier design without the bow, single tier and replace figurines from Pooh to Elmo friends).

10.10.10 Purple theme ROM cake

A special cake for Alex and Chui Har who is having their ROM ceremony on 10.10.10. CONGRATULATIONS! Was told that colour theme is purple and here's the cake I come out with (overall design was my daughter's idea with a little variation (thank you girl, you are superb).

Cake size is 10", 8" & 6", it's really heavy.....

Power Rangers

Heard of Power Rangers before but have never watched the show or really take a second look on those toys. Honestly this is not something that I am familiar... to cut the story short, Ethan's mom approached me for this theme, I gave that a try and I wish to thank her for her trust to leave the overall design (from colour to how many figurines etc) to me. All I was told is Power Rangers theme with 9"+6" two tier round cakes. This is the cake I created. Am happy to hear Ethan can recognise that they are power rangers and he even said 'thank you' to me. Happy Birthday Ethan and enjoy your party!!

Fire Engine, Basket ball & airplane

This was done based on the party banner emailed to me :)

Princess PM in castle

I was given this PM figurine earlier, Ellery's mom leave the design and cake colour to me just like most of the mummies did and her requests was to cover cake board with fondant and to have the 3D standing name. This is the cake I created for Ellery to celebrate her very 1st Birthday. The little empty space in front of the PM figurine is reserved for the Numeric 1 candle which Ellery's mom will put later on. Honestly I like this castle very much.

Pooh with music theme

Bernice's mom wanted Pooh theme with music elements added plus a big numeric 1 and in pink, purple and white colours. Of all the figurines moulded here, I like Eeyore most as he's really cheerful and happy with his guitar, unlike the cartoon Eeyore who is always gloomy (not all the time I'm able to get this result since they were freehand moulded).

Handy Mandy

Have never watched this cartoon before. Moulded the figurines based on the pictures I search from internet (that's the beauty of internet....). Enjoy your celebration Angus and Happy Birthday!

Mr Men for Ryarn

These are all Ryarn's favourite characters.... I'm very happy to see Ryarn gave me a 'thumbs up' and said "thank you auntie". I believe whoever in my position will be over the moon. Thank you Ryarn, you make my day! I'm sorry that I didn't do a good job in moulding Mr Greedy (my daughter was telling me I shall improve on this). Overall I am happy with this design :)

Happy Birthday Ryarn! Enjoy your party!

Jovin Park & Clubhouse

Updates with the new pictures I received from Jovin's mom (if you notice there are some flowers added to the cake board, this was done after I've taken the cake picture earlier and didn't snap any picture after that....so sweet of Jovin's mom ot send me this, Thank you). Pls note that the cupcakes were not made by me (I've stopped making cupcakes since last year due to time constraints).

This is the second time I made clubhouse theme where the bottom tier design was original created by someone else that I do not who (once again full credits go to the brilliant creator of this, a big Thank you to him/her).

All the plastic figurines were provided by Jovin's mom. I added some additional details like the arch, mickey head with numeric 1 and candle, etc.

Btw, wish to highlight here that if anyone need bright colour like the RED in this cake, cover cake board with fondant, 3D standing name, pls indicate and let me know in advance as these requires additional time :)

Sweet Pink Elmo cake for Sweet Tracia

Tricia's mom requested for sweet pink cake and was told that Elmo is Tracia's favourite (added extra Elmos to join in the fun....). I made the little baby Tricia girl (wearing her rabbit costume) hugging Big Elmo and sleeping soundly on his stomach : )

Btw, this cake is 10"+8" two tier round cakes which is bigger than most of the two tier cakes I uploaded. I usually do not cover cake board unless it's specially requested.
